Kirsten Grace, MSW, LICSW has over 25 years of experience in mental health counseling and treatment.

Kirsten offers therapy and counseling to men, women, and adolescents over age 12.

Kirsten's counseling approach includes traditional psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and health and wellness education to assist clients in reaching a feeling of peace, well-being, behavioral stability, and overall emotional balance in their lives.

 

Kirsten treats clients experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, substance abuse, adjustment disorders, and eating disorders. She offers support services to men and women who are facing parenting and relationship challenges, women experiencing post-partum depression, adolescents struggling with social and academic difficulties, and families experiencing chronic illness and loss. Kirsten is a married mother of three school-age children and she is understanding of the stressors and complexities of balancing work and family responsibilities.

Kirsten accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Behavioral Health, HPHC, Tufts Health Plan and a Self Pay option is available which most Health Savings Plans and Flex Spending Accounts will reimburse.

Kirsten earned her Masters in Social Work from Simmons College in 1997 and graduated with a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College in 1994. Before opening her practice at Foxborough Counseling Associates in May 2011, Kirsten worked for 5 years in a group practice in Foxborough, MA doing individual, adult, adolescent, substance abuse, and marriage counseling with a focus on mood disorders, depression and anxiety, family stressors and post-partum depression. Prior to that, Kirsten worked at NORCAP Outpatient for a period of 5 years offering individual counseling to adults and adolescents and running Substance Abuse Relapse Prevention Groups. Additionally, Kirsten worked on the Forensic Unit at Taunton State Hospital for 7 years offering assessments, diagnosis, group and individual work, and substance abuse treatment. Kirsten maintains active membership in the National Association of Social Workers organization and the local private practice section of MA NASW.
